Time Difference between Ukraine and U.S. to be Shorter in March
Companies and individuals that have contacts between Ukraine and the United States and Canada should be aware that the time difference will be one hour shorter for the last three weeks of March.
This is because most areas of the United States and Canada will move to Daylight Savings Time on Sunday, 8 March, while Ukraine will stay on Standard Time until Sunday, 29 March, when it too will move the clocks ahead an hour. The United States and Canada normally move to Daylight Time earlier than the rest of the Northern Hemisphere.
Between 8 and 28 March, time differences between Ukraine and the four main time zones of the United States and Canada will be:
Beginning on 29 March, when Ukraine moves into Daylight Time, time differences will revert to normal (7-hour difference to the East, 10-hour difference to the Pacific).
The state of Arizona does not recognize Daylight Time. Because its time remains constant, it changes time zones and will move from the Mountain to the Pacific Time Zone on 8 March. The state of Hawaii also does not change for Daylight Time.
