New Flights from Ukraine

Wizz Air Adds Flights from Ukraine to Germany and the U.K.

Continuing the expansion of its low-cost service from Ukraine, Wizz Air Ukraine has begun scheduled flights between Kyiv and Dortmund, Germany, and between Lviv and London’s Luton Airport.  The flights are scheduled four times weekly and use Airbus A320 jets.

The Kyiv-Dortmund flights are priced at UAH 199 (approximately US$26.50) each way.  Flights from Lviv to London-Luton are priced at UAH 299 (approximately $39); however, a return flight from London is subject to an extra U.K. tax of UAH 400 (about $53).

In addition to the new flights to Germany and the U.K., Wizz Air’s Web site reports that the airline provides international service between Kyiv and London-Luton; Cracow, Poland; Cologne, Germany; and Oslo, Norway.  International service is also available between Lviv and London-Luton.  Domestically, Wizz Air provides low-cost air links between Kyiv, Lviv and Simferopol.
