Azerbaijani Company to Build Food Factory in Rivne Oblast

An Azerbaijani company, Country of Taste, has announced that it will build a factory complex in Ukraine’s Rivne Oblast, which will produce frozen prepared foods.  The complex will be constructed in the village of Buhryn, which is in the Hoschansky district of the oblast and is estimated to cost approximately US$13.7 million.

The new factory will be built on the site of a former canning plant and will include state-of-the-art Dutch equipment.  The plant will employ about 600 people, many of whom will receive special job training.  The company plans to build employee housing and a sports complex as part of the project.

The new food factory will provide a close and ready customer for farmers and livestock businesses in the Rivne region.  Country of Taste will distribute its prepared food products via its more than 300 trade centers located throughout Ukraine.
